OBLIVIA Turn Turtle Turn

A commission from Münchener Biennale to create a piece of music theatre in a public space. Performed together with Oblivia performers, three classical trained singers and musicians of Ensembe ö! the piece was shared in public in Gasteig HP8 library hall.

 

With a huge skylight, the space is bathed in daylight, making the lighting conditions directly subject to changes in the weather outside. The lighting design contains sculptural objects that create a subtle spatial intervention to encourage the gaze to wander through the space, paying attention to what already exists in layers, in the background, and in constant change.
